Karolin Blattmann

Karolin has managed 20+ international sustainability and finance projects under several clients including KfW, AfDB, GIZ, MIFA Fund and AFD and more than 25 beneficiaries. She has worked as acquisition and technical backstopping lead for several large-scale green finance consulting projects (> 1 m EUR) within the last 6 years projects. Karolin supervised 10+ staff and built transparent HR development systems and introduced new organisational formats such as peer coaching for young professionals.

Karolin oversees and implements feasibility studies, technical assistance, and evaluation projects in the green finance and energy sector for International Financing Institution (IFIs) and donor organisations. She designs and delivers online, hybrid and in-persons training programmes while optimising communication and collaboration processes across both formats. As a business engineer and psychologist, Karolin helps project teams align technical and economic, and social aspects effectively.

Karolin utilises her strong project management and communication skills to monitor and effectively implements green finance projects. She conceptualises and implements workshops and conferences for up to 250 participants based on a co-creation approach. With her technical background Karolin supports the operationalisation of investment criteria.
